About me
Dr. Chris Phillips is a Consultant Dermatologist and Dermatologic Surgeon based at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford, who provides care in all areas of skin health.
Having qualified from the University of Nottingham in 2010, Dr. Phillips brings over 15 years of medical experience and holds dual qualifications in General Practice and Dermatology. He combines specialist clinical knowledge with a warm, patient-centred approach, and tailors treatment to the individual to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Phillips is an experienced skin surgeon, having performed 5000+ skin cancer procedures on the NHS and is an active member of the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team. He is skilled in a wide range of procedures with a keen emphasis on achieving excellent cosmetic results.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Phillips is actively involved in medical education and research. He lectures in Dermatology nationally for the Royal College of General Practitioners and for the University of Oxford, where he also serves as an examiner. His award-winning, published research focused on listening to the patient voice and how severe skin disease impacts on the individual.
When not at work, Dr Phillips enjoys playing tennis, cycling and spending time with his young family in Oxford.
