About me
My name is Zoe, and I'm a clinical psychologist based near Edinburgh.
I have particular interest and expertise working with people who are, or who think they may be, neurodivergent, and in adapting therapy to be more accessible, supportive and successful for my clients. This includes people with suspected or diagnosed ADHD, autism and dyslexia. I work with people of all ages and often meet my clients at points of transition in their life when neurodiversity can add additional challenges, such as young people reaching adulthood, or adults changing jobs or navigating relationship changes. I can support people with mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression, as well as burnout and overwhelm associated with neurodiversity.
I bring a range of therapy models to my work, focusing on what is most suited to each client. I have an interest in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy and systemic approaches.
Outside of therapy, I am passionate about improving healthcare systems and have worked in national policy and strategy roles. I am committed to delivering high quality, evidence-based care and am an expert member of an NHS research ethics committee.
