About me

Sometimes life brings challenges that feel too heavy to carry alone - whether it's struggling with low self-esteem, the impact of traumatic or difficult experiences, making sense of thoughts and feelings, managing strong emotions, navigating life transitions, or a general sense of feeling stuck.

I'm an experienced HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist, with over 10 years supporting adults through a wide range of mental and physical health challenges. I believe therapy is a deeply human process, where meaningful change can happen when you are truly seen, heard, and accepted without judgment.

You may have a diagnosis from a healthcare professional, but a diagnosis is not required to begin therapy with me.

I provide a safe, non-judgmental space to pause, reflect, and work through what feels difficult, in ways that feel meaningful and manageable for you. I meet you where you are, offering genuine compassion and respect throughout our work together. My approach is warm, authentic, and down-to-earth.

One size doesn't fit all, so my approach is evidence-based but always personalised. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including:

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing): helps you to process and reduce the distress of traumatic or difficult memories.

CFT (Compassion-Focused Therapy): helps you develop self-kindness and reduce shame and self-criticism.

ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy): supports you to develop psychological flexibility, clarify what's important, and take meaningful steps forward even when life feels challenging.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy): helps identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviours affecting your wellbeing.

Therapy works best as a partnership to find what truly supports your growth and wellbeing.
