About me
Dr Shahin Babayi is a Chiropractor with a Master of Chiropractic (First Class Honours) and over 6 years of clinical experience in the management of musculoskeletal and spinal conditions. He is registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA). Dr Babayi works in private practice at Freedom Clinics and Flex & Flow Chiropractic in Northwood, providing care for patients with a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems.
His clinical work focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of spinal and joint conditions including back pain, neck pain, sciatica, disc injuries, headaches and sports-related injuries. He has particular experience in managing patients with nerve-related pain, chronic spinal conditions and posture-related problems, which form a large proportion of his clinical caseload. Through treating a high volume of these cases, he has developed a strong clinical interest in the treatment of sciatica, persistent neck pain and recurrent lower back pain.
Dr Babayi treats a broad range of patients including office workers, elderly patients, gym users and athletes. He has experience working with football players associated with Millwall Football Club, providing injury management, rehabilitation and return-to-sport care. He also frequently treats patients with work-related and desk-related pain, as well as joint injuries affecting the shoulder, spine and lower limbs.
He takes a structured and evidence-based approach to treatment, with a focus on accurate diagnosis, effective pain relief and long-term rehabilitation. His aim is not only to reduce symptoms, but to address the underlying cause of the problem and reduce the risk of recurrence. Treatment plans are tailored to the individual and may include hands-on chiropractic treatment, rehabilitation exercises, postural correction and lifestyle advice.
In addition to chiropractic care, Dr Babayi has undertaken further professional training in medical acupuncture, instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, shockwave therapy and kinesiology taping, allowing him to provide a comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal treatment and rehabilitation.
