About me
Dr Eleftheria Panteliou is a consultant physician, specialising in Endocrinology and Diabetes at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. Eleftheria completed the prestigious St Bartholomew's training programme in endocrinology and diabetes and has more than 14 years experience in the specialty.
Ellie prides herself in delivering the highest quality patient care and is committed to providing a personalised approach to endocrine care with a focus on patient experience and clinical outcomes. Her clinical interests include Endocrinology: thyroid disease, calcium metabolism and parathyroids, adrenal conditions, pituitary conditions, menopause, polycystic ovarian disease, endocrine conditions and fertility, testicular failure and testosterone replacement, endocrine conditions related osteoporosis, Diabetes mellitus: new diagnosis, follow up and annual review, management of diabetes complications and Obesity with and without diabetes.
She has an interest in safeguarding and improving the quality of clinical care and is currently the lead for clinical governance for her department at Princess Alexandra Hospital. Eleftheria has a strong clinical interest in obesity and the subject of her MSc work at Queen Mary's University London, was on improving cardiovascular safety for bariatric patients.
