Dr Zakia Balghari is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician with over 20 years of clinical practice across South Asia, the Middle East, and the UK. She is currently based at a leading NHS Trust and also offers private consultations, delivering patient-centred care grounded in the highest clinical standards.
Her expertise spans a broad spectrum of women's health issues, including the management of menstrual disorders, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), fibroids, pelvic pain, sexual health concerns, vulval conditions, and premenstrual syndrome. Dr Balghari is particularly skilled in office-based procedures such as outpatient hysteroscopy, providing minimally invasive diagnosis and treatment of uterine conditions including abnormal bleeding, fibroids, and polyps. She has extensive experience in both conventional and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Dr Balghari provides comprehensive care throughout all stages of a woman's life, encompassing early pregnancy management, preterm birth prevention, pre-pregnancy counselling, post-partum recovery, and menopause-related health.
