About me

Dr Shaw (MBChB, MSc, FRCP) graduated from Bristol University in 1994 and subsequently completed specialty training in the South West and at St Mark's Hospital, in London. He has a Master's degree in Medical Education from the University of Cardiff and has been a Gastroenterology Consultant in Gloucestershire since 2003.

He has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of luminal gastroenterology (conditions that affect the gut). He is a medical adviser to Crohn's and Colitis UK (the patient charity for Inflammatory Bowel Disease) and was previously the Clinical Lead for the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Programme at the Royal College of Physicians.
