About me
I am an accredited (BABCP) cognitive behavioural therapist and registered mental health nurse (NMC) with 15 years of experience working in mental health care. I am also an Associate Professor of mental health at the University of Nottingham where I specialise in teaching cognitive behavioural therapy, and undertaking research around mental health.
As a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions with empathy and evidence-based care. My approach is collaborative and rooted in the belief that recovery begins with understanding.
I create a safe, non-judgmental space where people feel heard, supported, and empowered to challenge unhelpful patterns and build meaningful change. With a deep respect for each person's unique journey, I integrate compassion with practical CBT strategies to foster resilience, self-awareness, and emotional well-being.
