About me

Hello, I am a person-centred counsellor and have worked as a therapist for over 20 years. I have worked widely in the areas of mental health, trauma, substance use (alcohol, stimulant drugs) and higher education. I have a warm, gentle nature and offer a person-centred relationship meeting each person where they are with acceptance, genuineness and compassion.
I have also worked for many years with survivors of sexual violence/childhood sexual abuse. I have experience of working with all genders, both therapeutically and also within gender-specific services. I also have experience of working with LGBTQ communities including working with trans and non-binary clients. I also work extensively with students and enjoy working with neurodivergent clients.
