About me

Hello! I am Nisa.

I offer support to individuals as they navigate life's demands. You may be experiencing significant changes, or perhaps you feel stuck, exhausted, or uncertain about your next steps.

You might be grappling with loss, whether personal or professional, or facing difficulties in your relationships with family members, friends, or colleagues at work.

There are times when it is hard to pinpoint exactly what you are feeling, yet you recognise that something is amiss. I am here to provide a supportive, understanding space where you can explore these feelings and begin to make sense of your experiences.

For many, counselling can be the turning point between continuing to struggle and suffer in silence, or developing the inner strength and self-belief needed to bring about real, positive change.

Finding the right person to confide in is a vital aspect of your healing journey. When you feel ready to take that step, you are welcome to reach out to me on this directory, or visit my website at www.Mycounsellingplace.co.uk for more information.

During our initial assessment session (60 minutes), we'll take time to get to know each other and explore the challenges you're facing. This helps us understand how we can work together in a way that feels right for you.

Ongoing treatment sessions last 50 minutes and are available via telephone or Zoom, offering flexibility and comfort from your own space.
If you're ready to take the first step or have any questions, feel free to get in touch.

Areas of interest

In my professional practice, I have assisted clients with a wide spectrum of concerns, including anxiety, addiction, depression, bereavement, childhood abuse, shame, anger, low self-esteem, narcissistic injuries, victimisation by crime, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, body dysmorphia, and relational trauma stemming from family dynamics.
Seeking counselling and psychotherapy can be challenging, especially if it is your first time.
Admitting you need help takes courage, and the initial conversation with a therapist may feel daunting, and you might feel uncertain about what to say or what the therapist can do for you.
