About me

I am a HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist with over 15 years of experience working in NHS and third-sector mental health services. I currently work as a Senior Clinical Psychologist in a specialist NHS service, supporting individuals who experience difficulties in managing intense emotions and establishing healthy, lasting relationships.

I offer short- and long-term individual therapy for adults (18+) facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and attachment difficulties. Whether you're struggling with a general sense of unfulfillment, burnout, or navigating complex emotions, therapy can offer a space to explore and make sense of these experiences.

As a Clinical Psychologist, I'm trained in a range of evidence-based approaches, and I work collaboratively to tailor therapy to your personal needs and circumstances. My aim is to create a supportive, reflective space where we can explore what's getting in the way and work toward meaningful change.

I have a particular interest in psychoanalytic approaches, and have completed additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and mentalisation-based therapy (MBT). These ways of working explore the deeper, often unconscious patterns that shape how you relate to yourself and others. Such patterns can leave you feeling stuck in relationships, at work, and in how you feel about yourself. Building an understanding of these dynamics can help you recognise how past experiences continue to influence your emotions and behaviours today and support you in developing healthier, more fulfilling ways of connecting with yourself and those around you.

If you'd like to explore whether therapy could be helpful for you, please feel free to get in touch by phone or email to arrange an initial consultation.
