About me
I am a HCPC registered clinical psychologist with over 15 years experience working in NHS and third sector mental health organisations. I currently work as a senior clinical psychologist for a specialist NHS service providing therapy for people with significant difficulties managing intense emotions and maintaining relationships.
As a psychologist I am trained in different therapeutic approaches and modalities. I have a special interest in psychoanalytic approaches and have completed further training in psychodynamic psychotherapy and mentalisation-based therapy.
I offer both short-term and long-term individual therapy to adults (18+) to help with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma and attachment difficulties. Short-term therapy is often helpful in focusing on a particular issue that is causing distress and leaving you stuck in life. Longer-term work allows for a more exploratory approach to gain a deeper understanding of long-standing difficulties in how you relate to yourself and to others.
