About me
We all go through difficult times in our lives. Often this can feel isolating and lonely, but you are not alone. I am a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist accredited with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) offering support across a range of issues including anxiety, stress, depression and low self-esteem.
I specialise in working with loss and bereavement. A significant loss such as a death, a job, a friendship or simply navigating a new and unmapped phase of life - can trigger a broad range of emotions. I provide a safe place where together we can explore what is troubling you and make sense of it - giving you the time and space to reflect on your needs.
I have particular interest and experience in:
 Anxiety, OCD, intrusive thoughts
 Miscarriage, infertility and menopause
Creative therapies to support children and young people experiencing anxiety
Trained to use a variety of tools and strategies, I can help you to recognise what strengthens you and what weakens you, enabling you to make positive choices. Although past trauma cannot be erased, understanding and unpacking that burden can help you to move forward with perspective and resilience.
Therapy is a process for change, together we can identify and explore patterns of behaviour, relationships and life's challenges.
I believe the best outcome for positive change comes from the relationship between you, the client, and me, the therapist. I can help you grow your understanding, identify your vulnerabilities and build on your inner resources. Remember, the most important relationship you will ever have is the one with yourself. My role is to encourage self-compassion, silence your inner critic and boost your confidence. Let's work together!
I work with clients aged 4 and above.
