About me

Dr. Hesham Elagami is a Consultant Paediatric Urologist with 16 years of comprehensive clinical experience in paediatric surgery and urology. His areas of expertise include groin, testicular and penile procedures, as well as the diagnosis and management of congenital anomalies affecting the kidney, ureter, and bladder (KUB). Dr. Elagami is proficient in the assessment and treatment of paediatric wetting disorders, utilising advanced urodynamic techniques to address various forms of bladder dysfunction.

He has considerable experience managing conditions such as hypospadias�a congenital abnormality of the urethral opening�and vesicoureteric reflux, which can result in urinary tract infections and renal impairment. Dr. Elagami also regularly treats penile conditions including phimosis and balanoposthitis. He is dedicated to the development and application of minimally invasive (keyhole) surgical approaches to optimise patient outcomes.

Dr. Elagami's academic contributions include published research on spina bifida, hypospadias, and the integration of virtual consultations in paediatric urology, demonstrating his commitment to advancing both clinical practice and the field at large.
