About me

Mr Timothy Eves is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of shoulder and elbow conditions. He has particular expertise in shoulder joint replacement (arthroplasty) and arthroscopic (keyhole) shoulder surgery, treating a wide range of problems including arthritis, tendon injuries, trauma and sports-related conditions.
Mr Eves is known for his approachable manner and clear communication. He takes time to listen carefully to his patients, explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly, and develop a treatment plan tailored to their individual needs. Many conditions can be successfully managed without surgery using physiotherapy or injections, but when surgery is required he focuses on meticulous planning and minimally invasive techniques where appropriate, with the aim of reducing pain, restoring movement and helping patients return safely to their normal activities.
He initially completed a bachelor's degree at King's College London before going on to graduate in medicine from University College London (UCL). Mr Eves completed specialist orthopaedic training on the prestigious Stanmore rotation and holds the advanced qualifications FRCS (Trauma & Orthopaedics) and the European Board of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (FEBOT). He also undertook further specialist fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at leading UK centres including Brighton, Sheffield and St George's Hospitals.
Mr Eves is an NHS Consultant at Bedfordshire NHS Trust and is actively involved in teaching, training and orthopaedic research. He is available to see patients privately at The Spire Hospital in Harpenden, The Manor Hospital in Bedford, and at the Cobham Clinic at Luton and Dunstable Hospital.
