About me

Thanks for taking the time to visit my profile, an admirable first step in your journey to seeking the right support for yourself.

My name is Hannah, I'm a Clinical Psychologist and BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist who specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for anxiety and depression. I have over 16 years experience of supporting clients using CBT in a range of settings (primary care and inpatient) with a range of problems such as; Anxiety Disorders, including Generalised Anxiety Disorder (excessive worry), Panic Disorder, Phobias, Health Anxiety, Social Anxiety, OCD, PTSD and Mood Disorder

My warmth and compassion means I prioritise the importance of a good therapeutic relationship while using skills in CBT to help a client understand why a difficulty has started, what is keeping it going and most importantly, what we can do to manage it.

As a talking therapy which helps manage problems by changing thoughts and behaviours, CBT is also an excellent lifestyle approach and can be useful for maintaining good wellbeing and managing feelings of low self esteem or perfectionism.
