About me

Based in Wythenshawe Hospital Manchester since leaving the Royal Infirmary Edinburgh in 2011, I have been a high-volume operator in catheter ablation and device implanting ever since. I started private practice in 2025.

Heart Rhythm Care
I diagnose and treat heart rhythm problems like AFib, flutter, SVT, and ventricular arrhythmias.

Arrhythmia Treatment
I try to explain the best options to manage fast or irregular heartbeats with medications, lifestyle changes, or procedures like ablation, helping patients through their choices. I handle everything from common to complex cases, always aiming for long-term relief.

Ablation & Device Procedures
I feel it is useful to have a wide range of skills in heart rhythm, because it means you can offer patients the full range of options without bias.
I have particular expertise in ablation for atrial fibrillation, introducing pulsed field ablation and vein of Marshall ethanol ablation to Wythenshawe Hospital.
I am a skilled devices implanter and extractor and introduced conduction system pacing to Wythenshawe Hospital.
I am skilled in all other forms of catheter ablation to fix abnormal heart rhythms and in fitting pacemakers and defibrillators.

Testing & Diagnosis
We use tools like Holter monitors, consumer heart rhythm monitoring and stress tests to find the root of rhythm issues. Cardiac imaging with echocardiograms and MRI scans help risk stratify and provide reassurance.
