About me
After graduating from University of Edinburgh Medical School I undertook surgical training in Edinburgh, then Orthopaedic training in Oxford and Edinburgh. I completed training with Specialist Fellowships in Brisbane, Australia and Edinburgh, then was appointed as a Consultant in the Arthroplasty Service in Edinburgh. My practice mainly involves hip and knee joint replacement and revision joint replacement surgery. Since becoming a consultant I have developed an interest in Young Adult Hip Disorders, many of whom do not need joint replacement and have a condition called Femoro-Acetabular (Hip) Impingement (FAI). I am now able to offer Arthroscopic Hip Surgery for the management of this problem.
Areas of interest
Hip and Knee Joint Replacements; Revision Hip Joint Replacement Surgery; Hip Arthroscopy; Hip Reconstructive Surgery including Surgery for Femoro-Acetabular (hip) Impingement (FAI) & Proximal Femoral Osteotomy; Knee Arthroscopy
