About me
I am a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist with a broad and versatile background in delivering psychological support across a range of clinical settings.
I have extensive experience working in both the NHS and independent sector, supporting children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of mental health and neurodevelopmental needs. My clinical background includes working in services specialising in eating disorders, and clinical health psychology. I've delivered psychological interventions in outpatient and inpatient settings, including CAMHS, community mental health teams, health psychology, and specialist eating disorder services.
I'm particularly interested in the intersection between physical and psychological health, and how these factors interplay in complex and dynamic ways. This interest informs my work in clinical health psychology, where I support individuals in understanding the mind-body connection and managing the emotional impact of living with physical health conditions.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, neuroaffirmative, and evidence-based. I draw on a range of models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and systemic approaches, to tailor support to each individual's unique strengths, values, and goals. I'm passionate about helping people to build emotional resilience, deepen self-understanding, and develop practical skills that support meaningful change.
In addition to therapy, I'm trained in the ADOS-2 and ADI-R assessment tools and have experience conducting Autism assessments in line with NICE guidelines. I strive to provide high-quality, compassionate assessments that contribute to a clearer understanding of an individual's neurodevelopmental profile and help guide appropriate support and intervention.
I'm committed to delivering accessible, inclusive, and person-centred care, and I work collaboratively with each client to ensure they feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.
I accept both face-to-face and online clients currently.
