About me

Tim Rogers is a highly qualified and experienced physiotherapist who currently serves as the head of the Musculoskeletal department at Polbridge Health Ltd. With a keen eye for detail, Tim specialises in the accurate diagnosis of musculoskeletal issues and the implementation and supervision of comprehensive rehabilitation treatment plans. He has a broad range of expertise, including manual therapy (trigger point therapy, soft tissue and myofascial release, sports massage, joint mobilizations, and manipulations), exercise rehabilitation (gym-based rehab, home exercise rehab, and virtual rehab prescription), acupuncture, and shockwave therapy.

Tim is experienced in rehabilitation both before and after orthopaedic surgeries and is skilled in handling complex cases that require a clear medical opinion and structured rehabilitation guidance for clients. He also conducts Display Screen Equipment (DSE) and workstation assessments, performs Fit For Work and return-to-work assessments/reports for clients with musculoskeletal-related absences, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams by offering advice on cases and providing valuable opinions to ensure clients receive the appropriate care package. Tim completes clinical reports on patients' progress, including initial assessment diagnosis paperwork and post-discharge referral letters, and mentors team members and managers on musculoskeletal education and reasoning.

Tim's passion for physiotherapy began when he obtained his qualification as a physiotherapist from Keele University School in 2011. He had the privilege of studying under various NHS trusts in the Midlands and being part of a physiotherapy team at the Stoke Woman's Football Centre of Excellence. After becoming fully Chartered, Tim began working simultaneously with the Maidenhead Rugby Football Team and at a Bupa Nursing Home, which allowed him to gain valuable insights into two different aspects of physiotherapy. He also worked as a Community Physiotherapist at Tewksbury Hospital in 2012, where he conducted comprehensive assessments and provided treatments to patients in their homes, addressing various mental capacities, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, and mobility issues.

From 2012 to 2015, Tim served as a senior physiotherapist at Physio World, where he conducted assessments and treatments for a diverse musculoskeletal caseload and developed personalized rehabilitation programs incorporating manual therapy, manipulations, and home exercise regimes. In 2015, he assumed the role of Regional Manager at Optimum Health Limited, where he continued to independently manage a varied musculoskeletal caseload, which included medical insurance claims, private patients, and referrals from consultants and general practitioners. Additionally, he played a crucial role in the development of management skills by providing clinical support to physiotherapists within his team and throughout the company. Tim led continuing professional development (CPD) in-service training on a quarterly basis, guiding other physiotherapists on self-directed study and group sessions. Conducting quarterly audits on his team's documentation and collaborating in regular meetings to enhance the business further showcased his commitment to progress and contribute to the company's success.

Tim's wealth of experience has made him the accomplished physiotherapist he is today. With his dedication and supportive team at Polbridge, he aims to continue improving and developing as a physiotherapist while providing the ultimate care for patients and employees. Polbridge offers a wide range of MSK rehabilitation treatments and management of MSK conditions to improve quality of life and overall health and wellbeing.
