About me
I am a relational psychotherapist with over five years' clinical experience, offering short and long-term therapy both online and in person.
I work with adults and young people who are struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, loss and the challenges of relationships and life transitions (i.e.university, retirement, redundancy, empty nest). Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of how to move forward after a period of change, illness, or bereavement.
My background includes working within a cancer support charity, a community counselling service for adults, and a young people's organisation. Across these roles I have supported clients coping with grief, trauma, identity and cultural issues, depression, and social anxiety. These experiences have deepened my understanding of how our histories and environments shape the way we relate to ourselves and others.
In private practice, I continue to help clients navigate relationship difficulties, work-related stress, and the emotional impact of loss or separation. I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent clients, and I aim to create a space where you can feel fully accepted and understood.
My approach is warm, collaborative and tailored to each person. Building trust is central to our work, we go at a pace that feels right for you. I draw on a range of relational and evidence-based therapies, blending practical strategies with space for reflection and self-understanding.
