About me
Dr. Alicia Ng is a Consultant Dermatologist at NHS Homerton Hospital, where she serves as the medical dermatology subspecialty lead. She treats adults and children. Following her specialist training in the East of England, Dr. Ng secured a highly competitive post-CCT fellowship in advanced medical dermatology at the renowned St John's Institute of Dermatology.
Dr. Ng obtained her medical degree from the Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry (Universities of Exeter and Plymouth) in 2014. She then went on to train in general internal medicine in West Yorkshire, acquiring membership of the Royal College of Physicians.
Dr. Ng holds a Master's degree in Medical and Healthcare Education with merit, focusing her research on skin of colour dermatology teaching for medical students at Anglia Ruskin University. She previously held the positions of Dermatology Undergraduate Lead and East of England Dermatology Trainee Representative, successfully designing and delivering the dermatology curriculum and advocating for trainees.
Dr. Ng is a recognised expert in her field, regularly presenting at national and international conferences and publishing her work in scientific journals. She also boasts experience as Principal Investigator on dermatology clinical trials.
