About us

Immanuel Theophilus
B.PT, M.Sc SPORTS (Eng), Dip ORTHOMED (Eng), Cert ILM (Eng), PG CERT INJECTION THERAPY (Eng), MCSP, SRP, MIAP, MAACP.

I graduated as a Physiotherapist from the prestigious Dr. MGR Medical University with a bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy (B.PT) in 2000. I had the privilege to work in India and the Middle East for few years before moving to the UK in 2006.

I worked as a Senior Physiotherapist for the Spencer Private Hospital at Margate for almost nine years. I completed a Diploma in orthopaedic medicine with the Society of Orthopaedic Medicine which was validated by the Middlesex University London.

In 2013, I completed an MSc in Exercise and Sports Injury in merit at Manchester Metropolitan University. My dissertation explored the study of response shift in patients undergoing ACL reconstruction surgery which secured a distinction. My work was presented at the Sports Medicine conference in Glasgow in October 2013 and the British Psychological Society DSEP conference at Manchester in December 2013. My thesis was nominated for the BASES Master's Dissertation Award for 2013.

I have completed leadership and management training with the Institute of Leadership and Management (UK). I was awarded the Margaret Fenwick Prize for outstanding achievement. This training has provided me with practical solutions and application of managerial skills in effective management of time and planning clinical and non-clinical activities.

I worked for a local NHS-AQP provider as a MSK specialist/First contact practitioner Physiotherapist at local surgeries in Thanet for nine years. Followed by a role with BUPA as a remote MSK triage Physiotherapist for just over a year. I have completed AACP certified acupuncture course and soft tissue and joint injection therapy course from the Essex University. I am currently pursuing FIFA diploma in football medicine.

I am very passionate about my profession and take great pride in improving patients' life for the better with my expertise.
