About me
Miss Asmaa Al-Kufaishi is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at St Mary's Hospital, part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. She provides expert, patient-centred care across a broad range of gynaecological conditions, with particular expertise in benign gynaecology.
She specialises in the management of menstrual disorders, fibroids, adenomyosis, and acute gynaecological conditions. She also has extensive experience in early pregnancy complications, including miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, and molar pregnancy, ensuring compassionate and evidence-based care during what can be a particularly sensitive time for patients.
Miss Al-Kufaishi offers both inpatient surgical management and minimally invasive outpatient treatments in a comfortable clinic setting. These include hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy, IUD insertion, and the treatment of polyps and fibroids helping many patients avoid hospital admission and benefit from faster recovery.
After graduating from Imperial College London, she completed her specialist training in Northwest London. She also holds a Master's degree in Quality and Safety in Healthcare and serves as Lead for Quality and Clinical Governance in Gynaecology and Reproductive Medicine at the Trust. Deeply committed to patient safety and clinical excellence, she promotes a culture of transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement in healthcare delivery.
