About me

I am a BABCP?accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and EMDR Practitioner with over 22 years of experience working in the NHS. Alongside my private practice, I work within a busy specialist mental health service in London, where I provide therapy, supervision, teaching, and service development.

Although CBT sits at the core of my clinical work, I am an integrative psychotherapist. I draw on a range of NICE?recommended, evidence?based approaches and tailor treatment to each individual's needs, goals, and personal context. I am also a qualified Mindfulness Teacher, EMDR Practitioner, and Clinical Supervisor, and I regularly supervise trainee psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, and therapists in training.

My clinical experience spans work with individuals, groups, and organisations. I have delivered numerous workshops and can provide bespoke sessions for employers. I have specialist expertise in trauma (including complex trauma), perinatal mental health, and menopause?related psychological wellbeing. I work confidently with mild, moderate, severe, and enduring mental health difficulties, and my background includes both NHS and private sector experience, including work in the City.

Clients describe me as warm, insightful, compassionate, down to earth and collaborative. I bring a thoughtful, person?centred approach to therapy, drawing on a wide range of psychological models to create an evidence based, idiosyncratic, responsive treatment plan for each person I work with. My aim is always to help clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to move toward meaningful and lasting change.
