This package includes your appointments before and after surgery, as well as your surgery and mono-focal lenses. It means you won’t use up your out-patient benefit or receive any additional bills from your surgeon (or anaesthetist, if you need one) for eligible treatment.

About me
Mr. Mishank Jain is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a subspecialist interest in cataract and glaucoma surgery. He is known for his calm, patient-focused approach and dedication to delivering high-quality, evidence-based care tailored to each individual's needs.
Mr. Jain specialises in modern cataract surgery, offering a full range of intraocular lens options including premium lenses and refractive lens exchange (RLE) for suitable patients. He routinely manages complex cataract cases, particularly those with co-existing glaucoma or anatomical challenges.
He has completed two competitive glaucoma surgical fellowships�one at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (Western Eye Hospital) and another at the prestigious Moorfields Eye Hospital�gaining advanced training in the full range of glaucoma procedures. These include Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) such as iStent, Hydrus Microstent, ECP laser, and goniosynechialysis, as well as filtration surgeries like trabeculectomy, Preserflo MicroShunt, and glaucoma drainage devices, including the Paul Glaucoma Implant, which he introduced to Frimley Health NHS Trust.
Beyond his clinical work, Mr. Jain is an active contributor to medical education and academic ophthalmology. He is a PLAB examiner for the General Medical Council (GMC) and a lecturer at the University of Surrey Medical School.
Mr. Jain has presented at leading international conferences including the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), World Glaucoma Congress, ASCRS, and ARVO, and has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications. In recognition of his research, he was awarded the Imperial College Ophthalmic Research Group Medal Prize.
He was the first Ophthalmology trainee in the UK to complete a industry sponsored fellowship in drug development at Roche. This has instilled a firm belief in research and new pharmaceutical developments in his field of interest.
He introduced a novel glaucoma topical agent to his trust and has conducted research on its outcomes.
