About me
I am a Counselling Psychologist, based in London in the UK. I have worked for over 25 years in the financial world, primarily as an actuary, and these last five years as a therapist in the third sector and large private practices supporting individuals affected by complex mental health problems.
More recently I have established an independent practice focusing on psychological wellbeing and neurodevelopmental assessment.
My personal experiences of therapy have inspired me to help other people in psychological distress or who wish to develop themselves personally, including, but not limited to, those working in the financial world and neurodivergent people.
I have witnessed and personally experienced the many challenges people face to keep afloat amid often overwhelming demands, toxic work cultures and unrelenting self-imposed expectations.
I am passionate about supporting people to find ways of safeguarding their wellbeing amid these pressures.
I work independently in private practice to provide adults with both psychological therapy and neurodevelopmental assessment. I have a passion for helping finance professionals and neurodivergent people, but I work with a range of people and difficulties.
My practice is dedicated to helping individuals overcome depression, anxiety, stress, and relationship issues. I particularly enjoy working with ADHDers and dyslexic people, and my doctoral research included exploring autistic psychologists' experiences of inclusion and acceptance.
