About me

I graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens, Greece, in 2000. I specialised in Cardiology in large tertiary hospitals in Athens and in Pulmonary Hypertension and Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing/Physiology at the Hammersmith and Great Ormond Street hospitals in London from 2011 to 2014. I have been a Consultant Cardiologist in the Pulmonary Vascular Disease Unit at Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, one of the 7 designated centres for Pulmonary Hypertension in the UK, since 2014. I am also a Consultant of the Heart Failure team at the Northern General hospital in Sheffield. I am Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sheffield actively participating in teaching medical students. My main area of interest is pulmonary hypertension/heart failure and unexplained dyspnoea but I also provide care for a wide rage of Cardiological diseases.
