About me

Dr Milena Leo is a highly experienced Consultant Cardiologist and Electrophysiologist at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust, with over 15 years of expertise in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders.

She trained in Cardiology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome, and completed advanced clinical and research fellowships in Cardiac Electrophysiology at Oxford University Hospitals. She also holds a PhD in Cardiac Electrophysiology from Queen Mary University of London, where her research focused on improving treatments for atrial fibrillation.

Dr Leo specialises in catheter ablation procedures for supraventricular tachycardias (SVTs), atrial fibrillation and ventricular arrhythmias, and she has performed over 1,200 ablation procedures.

She is dedicated to delivering safe, effective, and personalised care to support each patient's heart health.
