About me
I am a consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist interest in lower limb trauma, foot & ankle and knee surgery. I obtained my medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Birmingham in 1993 and was admitted as a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1997. I passed my intercollegiate board exams in 2003 and gained my CCST in 2004. I have undertaken fellowship training in Foot and ankle surgery in Brisbane under Terry Saxby in 2004. I was appointed as a consultant in trauma and orthopaedic surgery at the University Hospital of North Midlands in 2005. I hold a divisional chair for clinical governance. I have practising privileges at the North Staffordshire Nuffield Hospital and sit on the Medical Advisory Council. I also practice at Rowley Hall Hospital and have a advisory governance role
