About me

I am a Counselling Psychologist working with adults who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or caught in patterns that no longer serve them. Many of the people I work with have tried to cope for a long time on their own, often appearing capable on the outside while struggling internally with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, or a sense that something keeps repeating in their lives.

My approach is warm, thoughtful, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you can slow things down, feel understood, and begin to make sense of what is happening beneath the surface. Together, we look not only at what is happening now, but also at where these patterns may have come from, helping you to understand your emotional responses, needs, and coping strategies in a deeper way.

I am particularly influenced by Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused approaches. This means I support people to recognise long-standing patterns, understand how they developed, and begin to respond to themselves in new, more helpful ways. Alongside insight, I place a strong emphasis on practical change, helping you to notice patterns earlier, respond differently, and gradually feel less stuck.

I have experience working with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, psychosis and complex or long-standing emotional difficulties. I also work with people navigating life transitions, loss, and identity-related challenges.

Above all, I aim to offer a space that feels safe, genuine, and human, where difficult experiences can be explored at your pace, and where meaningful change becomes possible.
