About me

Dr. Brindley is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Bart's Health NHS trust. He routinely manages patients with a wide range of digestive and liver conditions, including performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and liver Fibroscan.

He is based at Royal London and Newham University Hospitals with a specialist interest in liver medicine. Dr. Brindley has developed particular expertise in the growing challenges posed by obesity-related liver disease and fatty liver. His work in these areas is driven by a commitment to advancing understanding and improving outcomes for patients.

He completed his PhD investigating the immunology of fatty liver disease. He continues to contribute research as a Principle investigator and medical education as an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at Barts Liver Centre, Queen Mary University of London.
