About me

Mr Ayman Abdelkader has been practising obstetrics and gynaecology for almost 20 years, with the past decade dedicated exclusively to the NHS.
He is currently a consultant gynaecologist at Homerton University Hospital, working within the hospital's BSGE-accredited Endometriosis Centre. In addition to managing complex benign gynaecology procedures and advanced laparoscopies.
Mr Abdelkader graduated from Ain Shams University, Egypt, in 2004 and completed his specialist training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Ain Shams University Hospital, one of the largest tertiary hospitals in Egypt. After earning his MD in 2013, he was appointed as both consultant and clinical lecturer. In 2016, he joined the NHS, achieved MRCOG membership in 2018, and went on to specialise in benign gynaecology and advanced laparoscopy. He completed RCOG Advanced Training in benign gynaecology and outpatient hysteroscopy, followed by two years of fellowship in endometriosis and advanced laparoscopy.
Certified as a Minimal Invasive Gynaecologist by the European Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (ESGE), he is also a regular faculty member and examiner for the GESEA course and certification exams run by the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy (BSGE).
