About me

Mr Adnan Darr is a Consultant ENT Surgeon based at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. He treats both children and adults, covering a wide range of general ENT conditions. His subspecialist focus is on rhinology and anterior skull base surgery, managing complex nasal and sinus conditions.

Mr Darr holds a degree in Physics from the University of Birmingham and a Master's in Medical Physics from the University of Surrey. He completed his medical training at the University of Manchester in 2009. In 2015, he joined the West Midlands Higher Surgical Training Programme, specialising in ENT. He later completed an Advanced Rhinology and Skull Base Fellowship at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham. In 2023, he was awarded the European Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery Diploma from the University of Paris.

Appointed as a Consultant at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire in 2022, Mr Darr works closely with a regional team to manage both acute and chronic ENT conditions. His private practice is based at The Priory Hospital Edgbaston and HCA The Harborne Hospital.

Mr Darr is involved in teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has taught at the University of Birmingham and Warwick Medical School. He runs surgical training courses in sinus and nasal surgery at the West Midlands Surgical Training Centre and has a postgraduate qualification in medical education. He has written several book chapters and published research papers, many of which have been presented at national and international meetings and received awards.

Outside work, he enjoys time with his wife and two children. He is a keen badminton player, supports Liverpool FC, and enjoys travelling and exploring different cultures.

Mr Darr provides patient-focused care. He listens carefully, discusses treatment options clearly, and aims to offer safe and effective care tailored to each individual.
