About me

Mr William Dartey is an experienced Consultant Gynaecologist with a specialist focus on female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. After completing his medical training in Ghana, he relocated to the UK where he advanced his postgraduate training and achieved Membership and subsequently Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

He has trained internationally in the USA and in Groningen, the Netherlands, and has worked across a number of teaching and district general hospitals in England and Scotland. Well known in the South West, he worked for several years at Musgrove Park Hospital and the Royal United Hospital. Alongside his clinical work, he has been involved in research and publication.

Mr Dartey has been a Consultant Gynaecologist for a number of years and provides high-quality, patient-centred care across a wide range of general and specialist gynaecological conditions.
