About me
Dr Katerina Tsokova trained as a general Radiologist in Bulgaria, completing her training at Velingrad Rehabilitation Hospital. She has 22 years clinical experience including 15 years as a consultant and is trained in all aspects of General Radiology. During her career she has developed a special interest in emergency radiology, gynaecology and the MSK pathology and ultrasound intervention.
Dr Tsokova began working at Practice Plus Group in 2009 where she provides x-rays, US and MRI services for general surgery, gynaecology, urology, ENT and orthopaedic patients along with reviewing CT images. She is committed to teaching and is actively involved in running training sessions for physiotherapists in interpretation of joint replacement and also trains sonographers on site. She has contributed to the development of the service by working alongside local GP practices to ensure the streamlining of patient pathways.
Working at Practice Plus Group, Dr Tsokova puts a strong emphasis on patient comfort and takes a reassuring stance when undertaking procedures to ensure the best possible patient experience.
