About me

Davor Jurkovic is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Director of the Gynaecology Diagnostic and Outpatient Treatment Unit at University College Hospital, London. He is also a director of the Gynaecology Ultrasound Centre in Harley Street which is the one of largest provider of specialized gynaecological diagnostic ultrasound scanning in the private sector. He is an internationally recognised expert in gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound. He has published more than two hundred scientific papers on this topic and has edited five books. He gave invited lectures at many national and international scientific meetings.

His unit at University College Hospital is the largest training centre in gynaecological ultrasound which has been attended by hundreds of doctors form the UK and abroad. He has helped to develop and run the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists training programs in gynaecological ultrasound, acute gynaecology and early pregnancy. In recognition of his contribution to research and education in gynaecological ultrasound he has been awarded the Fellowship of the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology He is also a founding member of the educational charity Focus on Gynaecology.

Areas of interest

Ultrasound diagnosis of ovarian and endometrial cancer, diagnosis and management of congenital and acquired uterine abnormalities, diagnosis of pelvic endometriosis, diagnosis and management of early pregnancy complications.
