About me

I am a Principal Clinical Psychologist registered with HCPC, holding both Chartered and Associate Fellow status with BPS. I have 25+ years' experience in mental health and 14 years in direct clinical practice (NHS/Private). I work with adults and young people (14+) with all types of emotional and psychological difficulties. Typical presentations include Anxiety, Depression, OCD, PTSD, Stress/Burnout and relationship issues, that may be related to work and/or personal life.

I use a range of psychological therapies including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive and Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based CBT, Trauma-focused CBT, Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Dialectic Behavioural Therapy (DBT). My main approach is to help you to understand, reflect and make meaningful changes/shits that work for you in a non-judgemental and compassionate space.

I am also a UKCP recognised Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. This means I have advanced expertise in early life/childhood experiences and how they shape and inform our current relationships and day-to-day life. As such, I have advanced training in attachment, loss/grief, addiction, identity, sexual/complex trauma and relational trauma.

I am also a Systemic/Organisational Practitioner with additional CMI recognised leadership training. I have particular skills and interests in supporting the psychological health of individuals in high pressured leadership/management roles both in the private and public sector. Difficulties may include but not limited to: performance anxiety, imposter syndrome, stress/burnout, relational conflict, work-life balance, harassment, power/discrimination and career progression.
