About me

Hello, I am a clinical psychologist with over 15 years experience working across various mental and physical health settings in the NHS and private practice. I qualified as a clinical psychologist in 2012. My training covered a wide range of therapeutic approaches including psychodynamic, systemic, CFT and IFS informed work, this allows me to work integratively, adopting an approach that can best meet your needs. Currently, I provide psychological therapy to adults.

I am interested in helping you to develop an understanding of why you feel the way that you do and helping you to understand the influence of your life experiences. Often ways of being that we develop early in life utilised the best resources available at that time and helped then but may no longer be so helpful now. I feel that it is important to work collaboratively with you to help you to explore these patterns and to develop a deeper understanding and connection with yourself, as well as exploring strategies that may help you to move forwards.

I work flexibly and at a pace to suit you and your needs. Some people seek support in order to process a specific issue such as a bereavement or recent life event, others might want longer term therapy to work through and understand ongoing difficulties such as depression, anxiety, chronic health conditions, or to think about childhood trauma. Sometimes people seek out therapy because they find that life has become difficult or they feel a general dissatisfaction or unhappiness and they would like a safe and supportive space to make sense of these challenges.

I am a member of the Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC), the regulatory body for clinical psychologists.

My consulting room is based in South Birmingham.
