About me
My name is Sarah Whitmarsh and I am a qualified and accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in Milford, Surrey. I have a BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling, and hold a PGDip in Adolescent Counselling.
I offer a safe and confidential environment, working with you to create an individual approach to improve your every-day life.
?I welcome adults, adolescents and children. (8+) No problem is too big or too small, and everyone is worthy of counselling. Taking the step to start counselling may feel daunting, but investing in your mental wellbeing is truly life changing.
My Approach
I apply different theories and methods to suit your needs, creating a personal experience in a non-judgemental and caring way. Whether it be talking, exploring creativity, or both, the possibilities are endless. Together we will better understand your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
I work with current issues you may be facing, as well as past experiences or traumas, to assist you in finding the answers you are seeking. I can help you develop effective coping strategies, build confidence, and navigate daily life with ease.
I consider our relationship as a key factor in your counselling experience and believe that strong authentic relationships enhance personal growth.

I have experience working with many different issues across both adult and youth counselling, including but not limited too:

Youth Counselling
With over 10 years experience of working with young people , I understand the pressures and challenges life presents for both themselves and parents/care givers. Some of the ways I can help are;
