About me

I am a Perinatal Clinical Psychologist specialising in the emotional impact of the perinatal journey when it has been shaped by trauma, infertility, loss, or prolonged uncertainty. I support parents who are trying to conceive, navigating pregnancy after previous trauma or loss, or adjusting to early parenthood following difficult and traumatic experiences in pregnancy, birth, and early postpartum.

Much of my work focuses on helping individuals who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, hypervigilant, or unable to enjoy pregnancy or early parenthood due to what they have been through. I offer a safe, steady therapeutic space to process traumatic experiences, rebuild trust in the body, and cultivate a sense of emotional safety and hope in the present.

I also work with maternity and perinatal care professionals - midwives, doctors, doulas, nurses, psychologists - who have had their own difficult perinatal experience and/or are experiencing vicarious trauma, burnout, empathy fatigue, or moral injury. I understand the emotional toll of working within pressured systems, and I offer reflective, restorative support tailored to those in caregiving roles.

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, grounded, and evidence-based. I draw on trauma-focused models and mindbody approaches, always adapting treatment to each individual's needs and pace.

Whether you are preparing for pregnancy, currently pregnant, postpartum, or supporting others in the perinatal period, I offer specialist psychological support that honours the complexity of your experiences and helps you move toward emotional recovery, confidence, and connection.
