About me

I trained in medicine at St.Andrews and Manchester University. I completed my postgraduate training in Gastroenterology in Edinburgh and UCLA, Los Angeles, USA.

I am an accredited Specialist in gastroenterology. I deal with a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders including inflammatory bowel disease, and other diarrhoeal conditions, constipation, anaemia and gastrointestinal bleeding. I also have an interest in irritable bowel syndrome and advocate a holistic approach to this condition. I have an interest in endoscopic techniques including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy and video capsule endoscopy.
