About me

I am an experienced psychotherapist with over 30 years of clinical practice, including 20 years working within the NHS. For 14 of those years, I specialised in Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) supporting young people and their families through a range of emotional and psychological challenges.
My core area of expertise is trauma. This includes both single incident traumas - such as car accidents or an assault and complex trauma rooted in prolonged experiences of adversity, often beginning in childhood. I am particularly interested in how trauma shapes our daily lives, influencing our relationships, behaviour and the ways that we navigate the world.
My therapeutic approach in relational. I believe that healing and change happen through a strong trusting therapeutic relationship. Rather than fitting my clients into a predetermined model, I take a flexible, client centred approach, meeting each person where they are, emotionally and psychologically.
Whether you are seeking support for trauma related difficulties, struggling with anxiety, low mood, or wanting to explore longstanding patterns, I offer a safe compassionate space to begin that journey.
