About me

Hi, I'm Sade. As a Clinical Psychologist, I specialise in supporting people to make sense of their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Life comes with its challenges for us all. Maybe you are navigating relationship changes, work stress, or feeling at odds with where you want to be in life. Maybe this is your first time considering therapy, or you have sought support before and are returning to the idea. Whatever your circumstances may be, I aim to offer a safe, open, and compassionate space to walk alongside you on your healing journey.

I work with adults, couples, and families experiencing a number of difficulties, including those related to low mood, anxiety, and relationships. I also take a particular interest in supporting people to explore parts of their identity, and the impact this may be having on how they experience the world around them. Weaving together important parts of yourself, such as your race, culture, gender, and religion, I aim to work in a way that supports you in reconnecting with the core values and strengths that make you who you are.

My approach to therapy is integrative, which means I am skilled in a range of evidence-based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Systemic and Narrative approaches. Whether you are looking for short-term skills-based support, or a longer term exploratory space, I can tailor my approach to what works best for you.

Making the decision to start therapy can be difficult, and it is important to ask questions to make sure that you find a therapist with the qualities and skills most suited to you. To support you in taking the first step and to explore whether the way I work may be a good fit for you, please get in touch for a free 15-20 minute consultation.

Please note, I am not able to provide support in a crisis, and would encourage you to contact a crisis service (e.g. NHS 111 or Samaritans), or emergency services (999) if you are in need of immediate mental health support.
