About me

I'm an Accredited Professional Member of the NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society) and an experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, working with adults since 2017.

I offer a calm, supportive space where you can talk openly about what's going on and begin to make sense of things at your own pace.

My background includes over five years working in the NHS, supporting people with anxiety and depression. Alongside my core training, I hold a specialist qualification in Person Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression (PCE CfD), and I also draw on approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy adapted for menopause, relaxation, and mindfulness-based techniques where helpful.

I'm trained in the Rewind Technique for trauma, and I offer sessions face-to-face locally as well as online across the UK.

Many of the people I work with are experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, sleep difficulties, or feeling "not quite themselves" - sometimes noticing they're more emotional than usual, struggling to cope in ways they used to, or waking in the night with a racing mind. These experiences often arise during times of stress, life change, or midlife.

I have a particular interest in supporting women during midlife, including those experiencing emotional and psychological changes linked to perimenopause and menopause. My approach combines practical tools with a deeper understanding of how hormonal, emotional, and lifestyle factors can interact during this stage. I bring both professional training and personal insight into this stage of life, which can help clients feel understood and supported.

If this resonates with you, you're welcome to get in touch to see if this support feels right for you.
