At St George’s Hospital, a Level 1 Major Trauma Centre, Miss Bridgens delivers comprehensive paediatric orthopaedic care across a range of conditions. This includes acute paediatric trauma & infection, general orthopaedic conditions with a specialist focus on children with neurodisabilities. She has particular expertise in the treatment of developmental dysplasia of the hip and clubfoot. In addition to her clinical role, Miss Bridgens serves as Governance Lead and an Educational Supervisor.

Research interests

Miss Bridgens has contributed extensively to advancing paediatric orthopaedics through high-impact research. Her publications focus on key areas including paediatric trauma, clubfoot management, spinal dysraphism, developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), and neurodisability.

The initial management of paediatric Gustilo-Anderson type I open fractures
Development and validation of core outcome sets (COS) for clubfoot and spinal dysraphism
