About me

Miss Myriokefalitaki completed Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in 2011 and accredited gynaecological subspecialty fellowship at University Hospitals of Leicester in December 2015. Since February 2016, she has practised as a Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology surgery at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust where her clinical duties include the management of patients with all forms of gynaecological cancer and precancer conditions, weekly cancer Clinic and advice for patients undergoing surgery and oncological treatments, participating and chairing oncology MDTs.

Her clinical expertise covering a wide range of surgical and non-surgical management of gynaecological conditions related to cancer and precancer conditions. She is experienced in open / abdominal surgery and minimal access / laparoscopic surgery. She is a proctor, training and mentoring surgeons in robotic surgery.

Miss Myriokefalitaki attained her MSc in endometrial cancer research in 2012 from the University of Athens and her post grad Diploma in Minimal Access surgery by the CICE in Clermont-Ferrand in 2014. Her active research interests include all aspects of gynaecological cancer including post operative enhanced recovery, complications, mortality and morbidity, prognosis, outcomes and survival.
