About me

Mr Saunders graduated from Birmingham Medical School before undertaking Higher Surgical Training in the West Midlands. He developed a passion for nose and sinus surgery alongside developing skills in all aspects of general ENT practice.

Mr Saunders training included working at the highly specialised units at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, Birmingham Children's Hospital, and Royal Stoke University Hospitals under the guidance of experts in the field � undertaking higher level training in rhinology and anterior skull base surgery.

After training in the West Midlands, he was appointed to the prestigious and highly competitive Advanced Rhinology, Nasal Plastic Surgery and Endoscopic Anterior Skull Base Surgery Fellowship in Manchester, working with world-renowned specialists to enhance his specialist skills.

Mr Saunders has been published widely in academic literature and in instructional books, as well as presenting at national and international conferences. He regularly contributes to surgical training, including teaching on surgical skills courses, exam and interview preparation courses.

As well as his work in Shrewsbury and Telford, Mr Saunders works as a Consultant Anterior Skull Base surgeon at Salford Royal Infirmary, Manchester.

He is pleased to consult on all aspects of general ENT conditions.
