About me
I am the Lead Knee Surgeon at Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals. My practice includes all aspects of knee surgery including complex referrals relating to sports injuries and joint replacements in individuals.
I routinely perform surgery on the injured meniscus and meniscal repair, surgery to injured knee ligaments including the anterior and posterior cruciate ligaments as well as surgery to chondral injuries.
I pioneered computer assisted surgery in the UK which allows the use of computers to monitor surgery in real time and thus make it very specific for patients as individuals.
Our results using these techniques for primary total knee arthroplasty, unicompartmental knee arthroplasty and revision joint surgery have been presented and well received nationally and internationally, whilst our results in the UK National Joint Registry are very favourable.
