About me
Ms. Raveen Kaur Sandher was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in 2020 at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. She is fellowship trained and has a specialist practice in andrology, male infertility and urethral stricture disease.
Ms. Sandher achieved a first-class Batchelors degree with honours alongside her medical degree. She has completed a NHIR Academic Clinical Fellowship, conducting research funded by prestigious organisations, including Cancer Research UK (CRUK), the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and The Urology Foundation. Her research focussed on spermatogonial stem cells and male infertility. She completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Research in 2011. Her research has been published in peer reviewed journals.
Her urological training was completed in 2019, and she went on to pursue a competitive Andrology Fellowship at the world-renowned Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. This experience solidified her expertise in Andrology, male infertility, microsurgery, and Genito-Urethral reconstruction. She has led the introduction of Optilume at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Hospitals.
She is heavily involved in both undergraduate and post graduate training. She is an Educational Supervisor to Kings College London medical students and to postgraduate doctors.
She enjoys educating the next generation of surgeons, tennis and spending quality time with her family.
